Summary:
The position involves providing quality oversight for large molecule Bulk Drug Substances (BDS), Drug Products (DP), and Finished Products (FP) manufactured at contract sites. The role requires translating technical documents such as batch records, investigations, change controls, and complaints documentation into English. Communication with the quality personnel stationed at the contract manufacturer facility is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Review documentation and assist production activities for cGMP compliance.
- Follow procedures and communicate effectively throughout the shift.
- Relay information to incoming shift personnel.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED with 4 years of work experience, or Associate degree with 2 years of work experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 6 months of work experience, or a Master’s degree.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of process and facility equipment.
- Ability to interpret and apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Quality assurance or manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Written and spoken fluency in the specific language needed.
- Proficiency in cGMP (current Good Documentation Practice).
- Strong communication skills and teamwork capability.
- Ability to follow written procedures and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $38.00 - $40.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
