Summary:
The Product Service Specialist will be part of the Dealer Solutions Network (DSN) service team, serving as the first point of contact for dealers facing product-related issues. This role is critical in ensuring timely resolution of product health concerns and delivering world-class support to dealers and customers.
Position’s Contribution to Work Group
- Act as a key member of the DSN team, supporting dealers with product issue resolution
- Provide timely, high-quality support to restore products to operational status
- Handle and manage service requests, contributing to a team that processes ~70,000 requests annually
- Drive customer satisfaction through responsiveness, accuracy, and resolution quality
Responsibilities:
- Perform initial triage of product health issues and document incident reports
- Collaborate with product support teams and escalate issues as needed
- Facilitate communication and resolution between dealers and internal teams
- Investigate service requests and manage them through to closure
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation (product details, issue description, resolution, etc.)
- Maintain records for continuous improvement and data analysis (CPI)
- Reopen or reassess cases with dealers when required
- Follow DSN best practices and service guidelines
Technical Skills:
- Strong mechanical and product knowledge
- Understanding of dealer product support networks
- Applied failure analysis skills
- Ability to navigate product support systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)
- 2-4 years of product support or related experience
- Strong knowledge of product systems and mechanical components
- Hands-on machine experience is highly preferred
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $33.00- $34.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
