Summary:
To Support Project Managers with management of projects or may manage small, simple projects which generally require a small amount of client interaction. Projects will reside within a single business line and reside within a single site, may cross to sister sites for distribution or testing activities. May have responsibilities for supporting the training and mentoring of other Project Coordinators within the team.
Responsibilities:
- Gains insight into internal customer needs by observing and asking questions
- React to situations and offers realistic suggestions that benefit the customer (I/E)
- With guidance, establishes and maintains effective client relationships
- Building relationships with internal teams and clients to accomplish work
- Established strong relationships with internal teams and clients to accomplish work
- Suggests different points of view to PM management and team
- Supports the establishment and maintenance of effective (I/E) customer relationships
- Support of ERP system (i.e., contract entry, milestone uploads, client shipments, etc.)
- Supports Project Management staff in administrative tasks
- Supports project management staff by facilitating project logistics
- Coordinates scheduling, budgeting, change orders, development of presentations and internal teams to help ensure project completion
- Supports client interaction by taking and driving action items
- Performs follow-up with internal stakeholders with the use of influencing skills
- Assists with onsite client visits
- Collaborate with Project Managers to solve problems
- Actively participates, suggests solutions to problems
Education / Experience:
- Science Degree and/or apprenticeship or equivalent work experience.
- May have no project management experience
Skills Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries is desired.
- Working knowledge of Project Management is desired.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
- Detail oriented.
- Proficiency with MS Office Programs.
- Ability to lead a small project team.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $24.00 - $24.00 /hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
