What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Designer position at Aditi Consulting?
Payrate: $40.00 - $46.75/hr.
Summary:
Our User Experience Design team prides itself on creating a culture that fosters camaraderie, embraces diversity, and exudes passion. We value curiosity, craft, and a desire to directly interact with the real world. You don’t have to be a hobbyist or gamer to love working in TCGplayer’s UX Design organization, but you should be comfortable with ambiguity and eager to amplify our steadfast commitment to making hobbies and games accessible, fun, and rewarding for everyone. If you’re equal parts “empathy” and “ambition,” this is an opportunity to take risks and stretch yourself, surrounded by teammates who will support you along the way.
Responsibilities:
- Create UX deliverables throughout the design process, evolving designs from early concepts, wireframes, and prototypes to final specifications
- Deliver high-value features across multiple projects, ensuring design solutions support user needs, align with business goals, and positively impact key performance metrics
- Apply advanced knowledge of Figma to create, iterate, and hand off design assets while working within an established design system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to deliver high-quality solutions that drive seller value, inform product strategy, and support data-driven decision-making
- Participate in user testing, workshops, and research efforts to gather insights and validate design decisions
- Obtain Leadership approval and team alignment through compelling storytelling that clearly communicates your ideas and design rationale
- Build knowledge about trends in the trading card game (TCG) space, online marketplaces, and best-in-class eCommerce and payment experiences — actively sharing relevant ideas and inspiration.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of UX Design experience, including web, mobile, and service design related to shipping, logistics, or similar experiences in a marketplace context. This may include customer-facing fulfillment experiences as well as internal tooling like warehouse and workflow management solutions.
- Strong portfolio showcasing an iterative design process, user-centered design solutions, and problem-solving skills with measurable impact.
- Demonstrated experience designing workflow-based user experiences for internal team systems, policies, and tools.
- Demonstrated experience using research, user testing, and both quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions.
- Experience collaborating with engineers and operations teams to deliver solutions that are technically feasible, maximize efficiency, and support business objectives.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and WCAG accessibility standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with leading AI tools and examples of how you’ve integrated them into your workflow to generate concepts, improve efficiency, or improve quality
- Familiarity with the gaming, hobby, or collectibles community — particularly trading card games
- Experience and knowledge of shipping, logistics, and fulfillment operations
