Summary:
Candidates must be available to work variable shifts and should be prepared to work off-shift (typically 3rd shift), including daily overtime and weekends. Weekend shifts will be mandatory based on a rotating schedule with other production supervisors.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage production operations during the 3rd shift, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
- Provide coverage in other fabrication departments as needed, including primaries, secondaries, weld, machining, and paint.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with other supervisors to manage rotating weekend schedules.
- Utilize computer skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook, to maintain records and communicate effectively.
Qualifications:
- Strong supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is encouraged.
- A 4-year degree is strongly preferred, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting. However, candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant supervisory experience will be considered.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work variable shifts, including off-shift hours, daily overtime, and mandatory weekends.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $35.54 - $35.54 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
