Summary:
This role involves conducting analysis to support category strategy development and execution, supporting supplier relationship management, and achieving cost/performance targets. The individual will lead Indirect Manufacturing Equipment categories/supplier management for sub-categories and suppliers assigned to them.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative analysis using Excel.
- Develop category strategies.
- Ensure supplier scorecards are up to date and maintain accurate and timely information on the supplier.
- Support negotiations with suppliers and establish a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approach across Indirect capital equipment categories.
- Establish a knowledge of stakeholder management processes and ensure engagement with stakeholders throughout the process.
- Manage life cycle management for equipment, including spares and service strategy.
- Support capital projects and agreement execution in collaboration with legal.
- Collaborate with the facility on team-based projects.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience required.
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Purchasing experience is necessary.
Skills
- Strategic Thinking, Negotiation, Relationship Management
- Strong understanding of costs, working capital, and other financial metrics.
- Experience working in CBS, NextGen, SIA, Guided Buy, knowledge and use of eProcurement platforms, and a general understanding of various manufacturing equipment used in production facilities.
- Strong facilitation skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and conducting negotiations.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
