Summary:
This role is responsible for reviewing, auditing, researching, and coding legal invoices to ensure compliance with outside counsel billing guidelines and internal invoicing requirements. The candidate will analyze law firm invoices, identify billing discrepancies, and document findings for resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Audit and review legal invoices to ensure compliance with billing guidelines.
- Document, communicate, and resolve invoice issues.
- Analyze law firm invoices and identify billing discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with internal business partners and law firm billing contacts to resolve invoice-related issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Experience working with accounts payable or invoice management systems.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Desired Skills:
- Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools to support invoice review and audit processes (preferred).
- Background in auditing, research, or analytics (preferred).
- Strong communicator with attention to detail and proactive approach.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $30.00 - $31.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
