What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pathologist - MD position at Adirondack Health?
Position Summary: Acts in the capacity of physician to provide laboratory direction and pathology services as requested by physicians and advanced practice providers. Meet New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and College American Pathologists (CAP) laboratory requirements. Laboratory sites include Saranac Lake core laboratory, the Lake Placid satellite laboratory, and the Tupper Lake service center.
Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Medical College with a Medical Degree. Successful completion of residency in pathology and must be board certified or eligible in accordance with Medical Staff Bylaws. Must possess a current New York State license in good standing, a valid Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate, if prescribed controlled substances and a Certificate of Qualification for the NYSDOH to be a Laboratory Medical Director.
Salary Range:
$1600.00 daily rate
