Position Summary:
The Nurse Midwife position serves a central role in the delivery of womens health care by assisting women in all stages of pregnancy, childbirth and post-delivery. Works in collaboration with obstetricians and gynecologists in diagnosing and treating women with acute and chronic illnesses.
Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
Must be a certified nurse midwife with a valid New York State license. First assist RNFA training is desirable. Will possess a valid Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate. Must maintain NRP and BLS certification.
