Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and swiftly.
• Manage customer transactions at the cash register, including processing cash, credit card payments, and handling receipts.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper kitchen hygiene practices.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, grills, ovens, and other food preparation tools.
• Support retail sales transactions when applicable, assisting customers with product inquiries or additional purchases.
• Assist with food handling duties such as portioning ingredients, assembling meals, and ensuring proper food storage.
• Uphold food safety management practices by following sanitation procedures and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Contribute to a team environment by collaborating with colleagues to meet service goals during busy hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; culinary or café experience is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales totals.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Retail or grocery store experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment with energy and enthusiasm.
