We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our salon. Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly as they enter the salon and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using our booking system.
- Handle cash register operations, including processing payments and managing cash handling accurately.
- Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring that it is clean and welcoming at all times.
- Stock retail products and assist clients with product inquiries, utilizing retail sales techniques to enhance their experience.
- Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing client needs or concerns.
- Support salon staff by supervising the flow of clients and assisting with any administrative tasks as needed.
- Utilize basic math skills for daily sales tracking and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, particularly in a salon or retail environment.
- Familiarity with cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of retail math to assist with inventory management and sales tracking.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for client interactions.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
