Duties And Responsibilities
The Paraprofessional will coordinate with teachers in order to provide instructional support and assistance in all activities throughout the school day.
- May monitor/assist with study hall, recess, lunch, and other activities under the direction of the teacher
- Facilitate groups
- Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of all student information
- Provides clerical, technological, and data support for administration/guidance
- Assists in obtaining and documenting prior school history
- Provides assistance in confirmation of grade levels
- Provides assistance in the coordination of student scheduling
- Maintains records of class loads
- Reviews report cards, mid-term reports, GPA, and transcripts for accuracy
- Associate degree or higher with experience in a school setting
- Completed at least two years of post-secondary study
- Successfully completed a state or locally-developed assessment
