JOB SUMMARY:
Support the implementation of the clinical education component of graduate practicum placements in the Nursing and Healthcare Informatics programs. Responsibilities include: securing clinical placement for students, informing faculty about clinical agency requirements for student placement and following up with clinical agencies. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and collecting all accreditation data and entering information.

REPORTS TO: Senior Associate Dean
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Assure that clinical placements required for all academic semesters are secured and confirmed.
Communicate, in writing, with clinical placement sites, confirming placements (dates, units/sites) and informing agency of assigned faculty and students, for graduate placements.
Maintain accurate files and records of all placement activity.
Provide necessary agency information to the Administrative Affairs Director’s office to initiate new affiliation agreements.
Secure clinical placements and maintain good relationships with affiliate community/clinical agencies.
Assist with the semi-annual Clinical Placement Seminar/Information Sessions for graduate students, in consultation with the Directors of graduate programs.
Collect and maintain organized files for required preceptor documents for graduate students.
Serves as liaison with all clinical agencies, preceptors, and graduate students.
Provides guidance to students during the placement process, supporting them in understanding agency expectations and ensuring compliance.
Obtains and provides documentation for credentialing of preceptors/clinical agencies to Program Directors/Chairs
Provide clinical course materials and related informational support to preceptors/clinical agencies
Work with program administrative assistants to disseminate information.
Review American DataBank/Complio entries to confirm student health compliance
Other responsibilities include data entry, maintaining and posting all clinical site lists and acting liaison between Associate Dean, Program Directors, and the appropriate Department Chair.
Complete and submit required documents for CE programs.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft professional correspondence and documentation.
Excellent interpersonal skills for building and sustaining relationships with students, faculty, and clinical partners.
Technical competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Workspace and G Suite (G-mail, Google Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Windows operating systems.
High level of organizational ability and attention to detail, with proven capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Effective problem‑solving and time‑management skills, including the ability to prioritize workloads based on urgency and volume.
Proven outreach and marketing skills to strengthen partnerships with current and future partners.
Willingness to learn web‑based platforms and other applications for student compliance documentation.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Master’s degree is preferred.
RN is preferred, but not required.
