Position type: Full-time, 24-hour in-house coverage
Scope of duties
- Provide in-house obstetrics/gynecology coverage including labor & delivery, OB/GYN triage.
- Serve as ER consultant/on-call for GYN (and OB if needed) as part of in-house shift responsibilities.
- Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required by 24-hour in-house schedule.
Schedule
- 24-hour in-house shifts; on-call responsibilities integrated into in-house coverage.
Required qualifications
- Board Certified in OB/GYN.
- Active Iowa medical license or willingness to obtain.
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report dated within 30 days of credentialing submission (required; no exemption).
- Indicate visa status if applicable (J-1 or H-1B) in the "Additional Submission Details" field.
Preferred
- Clean malpractice history (highly preferred).
