Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient care with clinic and call responsibilities
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours patient care daily (up to 6 hours clinic); weekend 24-hour call (1:1 call ratio). Call response time: 2 hours (gratis). Callback rate applies after 8 hours M–F and for weekend call.
Clinical Scope
- Typical daily volume: 6–8 clinic patients; approximately 1.5 deliveries/day
- Admissions and phone consults required; rounding not included
- Case mix: prenatal care, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, VBACs
- Required procedures: prenatal care, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, VBAC
Facility & Support
- Two clinical locations within the department
- EMR: Cerner
- Support: 2 nurse practitioners; additional office equipment and specialty backup TBD
Credentials & Compliance
- Board certified in OB/GYN
- Active Michigan medical license and DEA certification
- NPDB report pulled within 30 days
- Minimum 2 years OB/GYN experience
- Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available
- Credentialing timeline: ~30 days
- Timekeeping: clock in/out via DocTime for reverse billing compliance
Compensation & Logistics
- Malpractice insurance included in rate
- Lodging: not booked through third-party sites; taxes on lodging not reimbursed
- Travel and lodging arrangements and any local candidate preferences to be communicated at time of submission
- Submit rates when providing name for clearance
