Seeking a board-certified Pediatrician for locum tenens outpatient coverage in Edenton, NC. Coverage is supplemental and clinical only, Aug 10–Sep 1, 2026, with specific shifts Aug 10–14, 17–21, 24–28, and Aug 31–Sep 1, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Daily patient volume averages 20 with one newborn admission; practice includes one physician, one FNP, and four nurses/MAs. Clinical duties include routine well-child exams and vaccinations, flu/RSV care, COVID/sick clinic with POC strep testing, COVID vaccines for ages 5–18, in-house circumcisions, ear irrigation, and minor suturing. Six exam rooms, onsite lab, and Epic EMR. No ICU/critical care, ER backup, or code response required (except nursery); attend C-sections when requested by OB. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided. Requirements: active NC medical license, board certification, BLS and PALS.
