Key responsibilities
- Triage and manage OB/GYN surgery cases
- Provide labor and delivery care and management
- Evaluate and treat obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
- Perform inpatient consultations and collaborate with community OB/GYNs, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, NICU, and nursing teams
Facility and support
- Large hospital system with 200 beds in the department
- On-site specialty backup: Maternal-Fetal Medicine, NICU, and community OB/GYN coverage
Qualifications
- Board-certified in OB/GYN
- Active California medical license and DEA registration
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience required (5 years preferred)
- Clean background with no malpractice history; NPDB self-query report required
- Submission requirements: completed prescreen questionnaire; CV in MM/YYYY format with explanations for any gaps
