Requirements:
- Valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant license for the state.
Role overview:
Provide hands-on patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to support rehabilitation and recovery. Deliver interventions, document progress, and educate patients and families while following safety and infection-control standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and implement prescribed treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
- Operate and administer modalities and therapeutic equipment safely and effectively.
- Teach and progress individualized exercise programs; instruct patients and caregivers on home exercise and recovery strategies.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records and communicate clinical findings and progress with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team.
- Comply with all safety, infection-control, and facility policies.
