- Patient Demographics: Adults and Obstetric patients
- Patient Volume/Census: Variable based on daily assignments and procedure schedule
- Phone Consults: As needed during call coverage
- Case Mix: General Surgery, GYN, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, GI Endoscopy, Ophthalmology (Cataracts), and Obstetric Anesthesia
- No. of Beds in Department: 25 (Critical Access Hospital)
- Trauma Level: Critical Access
- EMR System: Epic
- Office Equipment Available: 2 ORs, 1 Procedure Room, 1 GI Endoscopy Suite, Standard anesthesia and monitoring equipment
- Specialty Backup Available: MD Anesthesiologist and CRNA team support
- Reason for Coverage: Supplemental
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Orientation: Required in-person orientation (7:30a – 5:00p), preferably the Friday before assignment start or within two weeks prior

- MAC (Monitored Anesthesia Care)
- Regional Anesthesia (Spinals)
- Labor Epidurals
- Licenses: Active Vermont license required
- Board: NBCRNA certification required
- DEA: Active DEA Certification preferred
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all AHA issued)
- Experience: Must be comfortable with independent practice and obstetrical anesthesia
- Other Qualifications: Strong communication and teamwork skills required; must be supportive of a collegial and respectful culture
- Provide anesthesia care for surgical and obstetric patients across multiple specialties
- Manage independent call responsibilities for evenings and weekends on a rotating basis
- Administer general, regional, MAC, and obstetric anesthesia
- Collaborate within a team-based model alongside an MD anesthesiologist and CRNA colleagues
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with Epic EMR
- Participate in required orientation prior to assignment start
