- Case Mix: Diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid services, and audiology consultations
- Department: Yakima Ear, Nose & Throat
- EMR System: Epic
- Office Equipment Available: Audiology diagnostic equipment and hearing aid programming systems
- Specialty Backup Available: ENT/Otolaryngology support
- Support Staff Available: Medical Assistants and office staff
- Reason for Coverage: Long-term vacancy coverage
- Hospital Privileges Required: No
- Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90–120 days (expedited possible with clean history)
- Travel, Lodging & Malpractice Insurance covered
- Pure tone air and bone conduction testing
- Speech audiometry
- Impedance audiometry
- Hearing aid evaluations and fittings
- Hearing aid maintenance and troubleshooting
- License: Washington state license preferred
- Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology with clinical practicum
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) if applicable
- Certifications: BLS required
- Experience: Audiology clinical experience required
- Other Qualifications: Ability to interpret diagnostic results and recommend treatment plans
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations
- Interpret audiology test results for patients and physicians
- Conduct hearing aid evaluations and fittings
- Provide hearing aid instruction, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Recommend medical follow-up or hearing protection when appropriate
