$1,250 Hiring Bonus
General Description of Duties: Responsible for the proper upkeep of all buildings/facilities located at the assigned contract as assigned by the Site Supervisor and as outlined in the Scope of Work and the Task and Frequency Chart. This work will be performed in a hands-on fashion. Duties will include minor maintenance and custodial work as required plus other tasks required by the assigned contract. Monitors the custodial operations by cleaning restrooms, tables, and parking lots, including removing debris or clogs from drains; remove nests, cobwebs and graffiti; stock toilet paper, soap and towels. Add bacterial/enzyme to vault toilets. Clean and sanitize drinking fountains and reports problems to the Site Supervisor. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor.
Education and Training: High School Diploma (or equivalent) required. Five years general work experience preferred. Two years custodial experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, with internal and external customers of Adelante. Have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers.
Other Requirements: Must be pass background/fingerprint investigation and pre-employment drug screening. Must possess a valid NM driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance. Must have own reliable transportation and agency insurable driving record. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly, and be able to remain on feet for most of the workday, and be able to climb ladders for cleaning purposes. Adelante is a drug free workplace.
