Adelaide Risk Management is a growing independent insurance agency looking to add a motivated Licensed Insurance Producer to our team.
We are looking for someone who is driven, professional, comfortable working directly with clients, and motivated by the opportunity to grow their own book of business. This is a sales-focused role for someone who enjoys building relationships, following up with prospects, and closing new business.
As an independent agency, we work with multiple insurance carriers and markets, allowing our producers to provide clients with competitive coverage options and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work new leads and referral opportunities
- Generate self-produced business and develop referral relationships
- Gather information needed to quote new clients
- Prepare and present insurance quotes
- Explain coverage options clearly and professionally
- Follow up consistently with prospective clients
- Bind new policies and complete required documentation
- Maintain accurate client and prospect information
- Communicate with insurance carriers and underwriters
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Identify cross-selling opportunities when appropriate
- Meet individual production and sales goals
- Work closely with agency leadership and service staff
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
- Insurance sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a commission-based role
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities
- Professional written and verbal communication
Compensation
This is a commission-based position with no fixed salary.
Producers will have the opportunity to earn commissions on both agency-provided opportunities and self-generated business. Compensation will vary based on production and the source of business.
Estimated annual earnings: $35,000–$70,000 , with additional upside for high-performing producers.
Renewal commission opportunities are also available, allowing producers to build recurring income as their book of business grows.
