What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Hygienist (Temporary, Part-Time, or Full-Time Availability) position at Adel Family Dentistry, P.C.?
Overview
We are seeking a fun Registered Dental Hygienist to join our caring and dedicated dental team, where the average staff member in our office has been here more than 14 years. We are locally owned and care about the well-being of our team members.
One of our hygienists who has been with us for 22 years is retiring from the dental field and we are looking for someone to continue care for her patients. While the ideal candidate would be full-time, we are open to part-time help (1 or more days per week) or even temporary/fill-in hygienists.
We have a unique schedule; we work Monday-Thursday one week and Tuesday-Friday the following week which means you can enjoy 4 day weekends every other week even while working full-time. Our schedule allows for 60 minute adult prophy appointments so that you can provide ideal care for your patients.
As a general dental office we enjoy seeing patients of all ages. We have a stable, long-term employee and patient base, and our dentist, Dr. Kelly Sedars, has owned and practiced here for nearly 23 years. Join the team that has been voted as "Favorite Dallas County Dentist/Dental Office" for 6 years in a row by readers of the Adel Living Magazine.
We enjoy celebrating holidays and special occasions and have traveled with our team to ADA conventions in Washington DC, New Orleans, Orlando, and Hawaii. We have also provided volunteer dental work in Jamaica (Whitehouse and Ocho Rios areas) and at the Special Olympics.
Besides many of the typical benefits (PTO, CE, license fees, uniforms, dental care for your immediate family, health care reimbursement account), we offer a company retirement contribution of 7.5% or more of your salary. This is not a match; we offer this benefit whether you contribute to our 401k or not.
Compensation based on skills and experience. Mileage reimbursement may be considered as an additional benefit. Applications received by July 15th are eligible for a sign-on bonus.
