Patient Scheduler – Newark, CA
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Patient Scheduler for a full-time contract opportunity with a leading healthcare organization in Newark, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong customer service, patient scheduling, and high-volume call experience who thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Schedule & Pay
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $28.34/hour
Job Responsibilities
Respond to a high volume of inbound and outbound patient calls
Schedule, edit, and maintain appointments for new and returning patients
Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinic staff
Accurately document and route calls to the appropriate departments
Provide excellent customer service while supporting clinic operations
Identify urgent patient needs and escalate appropriately
Qualifications
Previous patient scheduling, medical office, call center, or healthcare customer service experience required
Experience handling high call volumes in a fast-paced environment
Epic EMR experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to type at least 35 WPM
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Additional Information
Qualified candidates will be required to complete an online assessment, including customer service scenarios and a typing skills evaluation.

Pay Details: $28.34 per hour
