Production Operative
Location: West Hartford, CT

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $18.50/hour
Split Shift
Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Pay: $21.28/hour
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Pre-employment drug test required
- Participation in the FAA Random Drug & Alcohol Testing Program is mandatory
Job Description
The Production Operative is responsible for preparing customer parts for various electroplating or spray?coating operations. This role requires strong attention to detail when working with parts, work orders, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Production Operative works closely with the Team Leader and General Foreman to ensure daily schedules are communicated, followed, and completed to meet quality and customer service expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare, process, and move parts through electroplating or coating operations
- Perform general inspection and counting of customer parts
- Conduct abrasive blasting
- Rack parts for processing
- Accurately record plating times and all required processing data
- Clean parts as required
- Perform masking and de-masking of parts
- Transport parts to the next processing stage
- Maintain compliance with all inspection, audit, and documentation standards
- Keep facility, materials, and work areas clean, organized, and properly maintained
- Use required PPE and follow all safety procedures
- Perform additional duties in other processing areas as workload demands

Pay Details: $18.50 to $21.28 per hour
