Patient Services Representative (Healthcare)
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Switchboard Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing a high volume of calls in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Prior healthcare experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer, screen, and route incoming calls appropriately
- Take and relay messages accurately and promptly
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy setting
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and staff
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant or LPN certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of medication pronunciation
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume workload
- Comfortable sitting for extended periods the workday
- Proficient in computer systems and relevant software
