This position supports ADDIUM’s commitment to product quality, precision, and on-time delivery by overseeing order fulfillment, inventory allocation, and the proper handling of finished goods. A Shipping Clerk is fully capable of performing and continuing all duties while taking additional responsibility for the organization, documentation, and coordination of finished goods. This position directly impacts the customer experience by ensuring that all products are prepared, packaged, and shipped in excellent condition and according to scheduled commitments.

Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment
- Inspect, pull, and allocate finished goods to fill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Verify that each order matches the picklist in terms of product type, quantity, and configuration.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all finished goods are free from defects and ready for shipment.
- Execute accurate inventory transactions and conversions within the ERP system for finished goods and consumable items.
- Prepare orders for packaging and coordinate with the packaging team to meet daily shipping goals.
- Prioritize and process orders to meet daily and future shipment schedules.
- Allocate available finished goods to fulfill overdue and current orders, ensuring timely delivery.
- Coordinate with carriers to ensure all shipments are ready for scheduled pickups.
- Coordinate with the packaging and logistics teams to ensure all shipments are ready for carrier pick-up according to schedule.
- Maintain proactive communication with the Shipping Manager to support ADDIUM’s on-time delivery goals and performance metrics.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and clearly labeled finished goods area to support efficient order processing.
- Ensure accurate documentation, transfers, and conversions of subassemblies and finished goods within the ERP system.
- Monitor finished goods inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to the Shipping Manager.
- Prioritize allocation of finished goods based on order requirements, product availability, and customer needs.
- Assist in maintaining shipping supplies, tools, and inventory.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and packaging quality.
- Adhere to ADDIUM’s safety policies and maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
- Provide training or support to Shipping Clerk I team members as needed to maintain operational consistency.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and inventory management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Advanced writing skills with ability to document tangible processes and apply them to digital components
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrated competency in using ERP or inventory management systems for product allocation and transactions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within the department and across others.
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping requirements preferred.
- Knowledge of current dangerous goods shipment regulations and ability to implement them.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision and use self-direction to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Experience managing finished goods inventory and order allocation in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
- Confidence in coordinating with and using shipping systems and carrier platforms
