What You’ll Do
- Serve as the company authority on global product safety and regulatory requirements (CPSC, FTC, FDA food contact, Prop 65, REACH, and key international standards).
- Lead product risk assessments, compliance approvals, and incident/recall management.
- Define and enforce product performance, durability, testing, and labeling standards.
- Oversee third-party testing labs, supplier audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Drive supplier quality execution and manage a global QA team, including Asia-based resources.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sourcing, Legal, Marketing, and Operations.
- Provide executive visibility into product risk, compliance posture, and emerging issues.
What You’ll Bring
- 10 years of leadership experience in product safety, quality, and compliance within consumer products.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. and international regulatory standards and claims compliance.
- Strong global supply chain and factory audit experience.
- Experience in e-commerce and retail environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (advanced degree a plus).
- Ability to travel to Asia up to 4x per year; multilingual skills a plus.
Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
