Job Overview
The Senior Accounting Manager will be a hands-on accounting leader responsible for the month-end close, financial reporting, technical accounting, internal controls, and team development within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the month-end and year-end close, including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and monthly management reporting.
- Handle technical accounting matters, including GAAP/IFRS, leases, intercompany transactions, and inventory accounting.
- Analyze financial results, variances, and trends and provide insight to leadership.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and support compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support tax compliance activities.
- Partner with international accounting teams on consolidation and reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members while maintaining a hands-on approach.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA required.
- 3 years of people leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Consolidation and month-end close experience strongly preferred.
- Strong Excel and ERP skills; SAP experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and technical accounting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement.
Salary : $110 - $130
