Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Field Safety Representatives and supervisors across multiple regions
- Develop, implement, and enforce company-wide safety programs and policies
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, MSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations
- Conduct job site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Oversee incident investigations, reporting, and claims management
- Support pre-construction efforts including safety planning, estimating support, and plan reviews
- Partner with leadership to drive continuous improvement in safety performance and culture
- Act as a visible, front-facing leader supporting company growth and expansion
Required:
- 5 years of safety management experience in construction
- Heavy civil / horizontal construction safety experience
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards
- Familiarity with DOT, MSHA, and EPA regulations
- Experience with accident investigation and claims management
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field
- Current team includes 2 Field Safety Representatives (North & South regions)
- Team will grow to 4 members with this hire and continued company expansion

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 75% Office-Based:
- Estimating support, takeoffs, plan reviews
- Pre-construction safety planning
- Leadership collaboration and strategic initiatives
- 25% Field-Based:
- Oversight of Field Safety Representatives
- Job site visits and compliance monitoring
- Base Salary: $100K – $125K (flexible for strong candidates)
