About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations at a high-volume, project-driven manufacturing facility. This role owns plant execution-safety, quality, labor, throughput, and schedule adherence-while partnering closely with centralized Operations and Project Management teams to ensure realistic production commitments and reliable delivery.
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing a large, multi-shift workforce in an engineered-to-order environment that includes metal fabrication, welding, CNC, assembly, finishing, and shipping. The ideal leader brings strong shop-floor presence, clear communication, and the ability to restore structure, predictability, and accountability in a fast-moving production environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all daily manufacturing operations across a 24/7, three-shift environment
- Execute production schedules and capacity plans while identifying risks early
- Partner with Project Management to communicate timelines, constraints, and delivery impacts
- Own plant-level safety, quality, labor performance, and productivity metrics
- Develop and coach supervisors and shift leaders across all shifts
- Drive continuous improvement in throughput, scrap, rework, and cycle time
- Serve as the primary plant leader aligning execution with customer commitments
What You Bring
- 10 years of plant or production leadership in sign manufacturing (required)
- Proven experience leading large, multi-shift manufacturing teams
- Strong background in metal fabrication, welding, CNC, and custom manufacturing
- Ability to operate in high-mix, project-driven environments
- Strong communication skills with customer-facing and centralized operations teams
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience strongly considered
Salary : $125,000 - $145,000
