Job Description:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations and serve as a resource to employees and managers. This role focuses on employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, onboarding, and HR process improvement. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key point of contact for employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Support employee relations efforts by documenting and assisting in resolving workplace concerns.
- Maintain accurate, compliant employee records and assist with audits as needed.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including background checks, offer letters, and new hire documentation.
- Partner with hiring managers and recruiting teams to coordinate interviews and facilitate candidate communications.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, updates, and employee support.
- Manage employee life-cycle changes such as promotions, terminations, and leave requests.
- Support compliance initiatives, training sessions, and HR reporting efforts.
- Collaborate on HR projects and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience (open to strong candidates with slightly less).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Experience using Paylocity or a similar HRIS preferred.
- Exposure to union or manufacturing environments a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a focus on confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and support a culture of continuous improvement.
