Job Description:
The Customer Service Specialist will serve as a key liaison between customers, sales representatives, and internal departments. This role is heavily focused on email communication, order management, quoting, and supporting inside sales activities in a fast-paced environment. The position supports assigned sales accounts and ensures accurate, timely execution of customer orders from entry through fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via email and phone
- Support 2–3 assigned Sales Representatives with account management needs
- Process and manage 40–50 customer orders daily in NetSuite ERP
- Prepare and deliver customer quotes accurately and efficiently
- Track orders, provide status updates, and manage changes or adjustments
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, QA, Purchasing, and Logistics teams
- Resolve shipping, tracking, and fulfillment issues
- Participate in customer and sales meetings for account setup and issue resolution
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using Google Workspace tools
- Support ongoing process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
- 2 years of experience in customer service, account coordination, or inside sales
- Experience with order entry or ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Strong written communication skills with heavy email management experience
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
