Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of B2C collections specialists to meet and exceed recovery targets.
- Monitor daily collections activities and provide guidance on handling delinquent accounts.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and bad debt.
- Analyze collection data and prepare performance reports for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with customer service, legal, and finance departments to resolve complex cases.
- Ensure all collection efforts comply with FDCPA, FCRA, and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Identify trends and proactively implement process improvements to enhance collection success.
- Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of B2C collections experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of consumer debt collection practices and regulatory compliance.
