Key Responsibilities:
Cash Receipts & Payment Application:
- Process high-volume customer payments: lockbox, ACH, wires, credit cards, checks
- Accurately apply payments to corresponding invoices
- Investigate and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments
- Audit team member work for accuracy and provide feedback when needed
- Handle and post virtual credit card payments
- Coordinate with internal/external contacts to confirm payment details
- Assist AR Manager with projects, data cleanup, and ongoing process improvement
- Respond to payment/invoice inquiries
- Support system upgrades or special projects as assigned
- 1 years of experience in AR or Cash Applications
- Comfortable in a high-volume transactional environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Lawson experience a plus but not required)
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus, but not required
