We’re seeking an experienced HR professional to act as the primary HR partner for production employees and managers. This role is both strategic and hands-on, focusing on employee relations, workforce planning, compliance, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main HR contact for production staff and managers, providing guidance on policies and best practices
- Partner with leadership on employee relations, grievances, and corrective actions
- Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement and workplace culture
- Support workplace safety programs and ensure compliance with standards
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager to assist with recruiting and interviewing for production positions
- Manage workforce planning to align staffing and scheduling with production demands
- Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with company and legal requirements
- Provide HR insights to leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives
- 3-6 years of progressive HR experience (HR Generalist, HR Specialist, or HR Business Partner roles)
- Bilingual Spanish/English required
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Familiarity with union environments and related employee relations
- Willingness to assist with recruiting and staffing needs
- Strong relationship-building and strategic partnering skills
- Background in smaller, growing organizations with a structured environment
- Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS systems
