AR Specialist

A prominent Northern New Jersey Property Management Company, is seeking a professional, dependable and enthusiastic Accounts Receivable Representative who loves challenges, to support the daily operations for our residential apartment communities. You must be able to commute to North Jersey headquarters.

Salary: $43,000 - $47,000 / year

Primary Responsibilities And/or Essential Functions

• Handle the day-to-day operations for our residential properties and our residents
• Must be able to prioritize and handle a heavy volume of workflow
• Process resident payments and maintain resident accounts
• Professionally interact with residents and other staff
• Process miscellaneous payments
• Complete needed daily & monthly reports
• Perform various other account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner
• Perform other accounting duties and special projects as needed
  
  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Working knowledge of MRI real estate software a plus
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable
• Skilled in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent, strong customer service and communication skills
• Great organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Multi-tasker who can prioritize appropriately
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Problem-solver with a willingness to adapt to change
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work
• Accounts Receivable Accounting Assessment required as part of the interview process
