Teaching Assistant (Tuscarora)

The Addison Central School District has the following anticipated opening at Tuscarora Elementary for a Teaching Assistant.

Job Goal: To provide instructional support to students at the direction of the classroom teacher and in support of the curriculum objectives.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, 6 Study Hours of College Course Work, and hold a NYS Teaching Assistant Continuous Certificate. The ideal candidate will be a student-focused teaching assistant who has effective communication skills and is able to work within a team in a classroom setting; is willing to assist grade level teams in supporting K-5th grade students; and is flexible. Prior experience working with children is preferred.
