Paraprofessional

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support educators in delivering high-quality educational experiences for students. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to assist in the implementation of instructional programs, fostering a positive learning environment for children. This role is crucial in helping students develop essential skills in literacy, math, and overall childhood development.

Duties

• Assist teachers in delivering instructional activities and curriculum development tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Provide one-on-one support to students, particularly in areas such as literacy education and math.
• Help manage classroom behavior to create a conducive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
• Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional assistance.
• Engage students in learning activities that promote their social, emotional, and academic growth.
• Collaborate with educators to assess student performance and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

Experience

• Experience working with students or children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Knowledge of literacy education strategies and curriculum development practices.
• Experience or training in preschool education is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A passion for educating young learners and contributing positively to their academic journey.
