We are seeking a System Administrator to manage, maintain, and continuously optimize our IT infrastructure. This role involves overseeing Linux-based systems, virtualization platforms, and network environments, with a strong focus on automation, performance, security, and operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Linux-based servers and virtualization platforms (OpenStack, Proxmox).
- Manage network infrastructure including switches, routing, and monitoring.
- Automate configuration and maintenance tasks in Linux environments.
- Monitor system reliability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with other teams on infrastructure improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, System Administration, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong understanding of networking and switch management.
- Strong Linux administration and shell scripting skills.
- Hands-on experience with OpenStack and/or Proxmox.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Bash scripting).
- Basic knowledge electrical installations and electronics.
- Experience in IT or lab equipment maintenance.
- Experience with passive lab hardware, cabling
- Knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Attention to detail and proactive mindset.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to work with containerized technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
