Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Insulation Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various types of insulation materials, including fiberglass, foam, cellulose, and spray foam. The Insulation Installer will work on-site to ensure that insulation is installed correctly and efficiently, meeting all safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Install insulation materials in walls, floors, ceilings, and other areas according to specifications and building codes.
- Preparation: Prepare work areas by removing old insulation, sealing gaps, and ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for new insulation.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect installed insulation to ensure it meets company and industry standards for performance and safety.
- Safety: Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment while on the job site.
- Tools and Equipment: Use and maintain tools and equipment necessary for insulation installation, including saws, sprayers, and measuring devices.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to address any concerns and provide updates on the progress of the installation.
- Documentation: Complete and submit necessary documentation, including work orders, safety reports, and project updates.
Qualifications: Preferred but not required
- Experience: Proven experience as an insulation installer or in a similar role is preferred. Training and certification in insulation installation are a plus.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with various insulation materials and installation techniques.
- Skills: Strong mechanical skills with the ability to operate and maintain installation tools and equipment. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Safety: Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to insulation installation.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and team members.
- License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
