ADAPT Medical Professional Services (MPS) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychotherapist (Dependent) to join our clinical team on a fee-for-service basis. This role is ideal for clinicians who are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered mental health care while working under clinical supervision in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
What You’ll Do
Under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor, you will:
- Provide individual and potentially family psychotherapy services
- Conduct clinical assessments and collaborate on treatment planning
- Deliver services in homes and community settings, as appropriate
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment recommendations as needed
- Coordinate referrals to additional clinical services when appropriate
- Comply with all service delivery, billing, and documentation requirements
- Participate in clinical supervision, quality assurance activities, and program initiatives

Education & Licensure Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Child and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related clinical field
- Current New York State licensure (or Limited Permit) as one of the following:
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)

- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

- Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT)
- Must meet NY State Office of the Professions licensure exemption criteria, where applicable
- Maintain active licensure in accordance with IPSIDD regulations
