What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fee For Service Therapist position at POSTGRADUATE CENTER FOR MENTAL HEAL?
JOB SCOPE:
Responsible for a minimum of 9 hours and a maximum of 21 hours per week with a
minimum of 15 in person contacts with patients including a minimum of ten (30) minute
psychotherapy sessions per week.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provide verbal psychotherapy to individuals and/or in groups setting.
Conduct intakes as needed
Assess clients’ need for services.
Formulate appropriate treatment plans for clients.
Centrally coordinate each client’s psychotherapy with ancillary and combined
services when needed.
Include coordination with social work services, psychological evaluations, and
psychiatric consultations.
Maintain current and timely records on all patients in accordance with the PCMH
policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by PCMH management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
LMSW/LCSW/LMHC in Clinical Social Work or Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in outpatient mental health setting with direct client contact as a Psychotherapist.
Salary : $34 - $68
