Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Associate Attorney, based in Bowie, MD. The Associate Attorney will assist clients by providing legal counsel and representation in the probate practice area. Responsibilities include conducting consultations, drafting and reviewing legal documents, filing legal documents with the court, attending court hearings, overseeing the management of all probate cases and team members. This role requires frequent client interaction and collaboration with other team members to ensure high-quality legal services.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of estates and wills
- Strong skills in case management and ability to effectively counsel clients
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admittance to practice law in Maryland and Washington, DC
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
