The Dishwasher Utility supports a restaurant kitchen by maintaining clean dishware, utensils, equipment, floors, and surfaces. Reporting to the sous chef and executive chef, this role also provides basic ingredient preparation support and helps keep kitchen operations sanitary and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes and clean utensils.
- Sort and organize dishware.
- Sanitize kitchen surfaces and maintain kitchen sanitation.
- Clean kitchen floors and equipment.
- Dispose of waste and support waste management procedures.
- Assist with basic ingredient preparation.
- Support kitchen breakdown cleaning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in kitchen utility operations.
- Knowledge of chemical handling and cleaning procedures.
- Understanding of waste management practices.
