- Coordinate day-to-day with the Director of Recruiting and Professional Development to execute approved recruiting plans.
- Manage the applicant tracking software and the Attorney Open Positions SmartSheet.
- Process Lateral Attorney Demand Request Forms, seeking approval from PGLs and Liaison Partners-Recruiting for new positions.
- Source candidates, schedule interviews, and coordinate the candidate experience for approved openings.
- Conduct background checks, reference checks, and bar standing assessments; escalate findings to the Director for final approval.
- Assist the Director in preparing Term Sheets and Offer Letters for lateral hires.
- Execute the lateral integration process, coordinating logistics with firm management, Marketing, Accounting, Business Intake, IT, and HR.
- Track legal recruiting trends and regional and national salary data; report findings to the Director to inform strategy.
- Maintain working relationships with legal recruiters and professional search firms.
- Coordinate with the Director of Recruiting and Professional Development on day-to-day growth activities.
- Conduct preliminary research on potential merger targets (e.g., using Sure Point software) in preparation for leadership calls.
- Manage the schedule and agendas for merger-related calls and meetings; maintain the master list of live opportunities.
- Execute due diligence tasks as directed by the Director, including initial information requests, conflicts checks, and coordination of practice team meetings.
- Manage on-the-ground integration logistics for new personnel following a merger (technology, marketing, file openings, etc.) during the first 100 days.
- Coordinate with the Liaison Partners-Associates on training scheduling and logistics.
- Develop training content and program design for Director approval, including sessions on legal skills, firm leadership, and pathways to partnership.
- Coordinate attorney training programs utilizing internal and external resources; manage speaker scheduling and session logistics.
- Collect and synthesize Associate feedback for Director review to support continuous program improvement.
- Plan and execute the annual Associate Retreat and Training program under the Director's oversight, including location selection, travel and hotel arrangements, speaker coordination, and event logistics.
- Prepare the monthly Managing Partner Report on Lateral Recruiting and Associate Professional Development for review and approval by the Director of Recruiting and Professional Development.
- Develop and track budgets for lateral recruiting and associate training programs for review and approval by the Director of Recruiting and Professional Development.
