Self Storage Assistant Property Manager (part time)
What You’ll Do
Oversee daily operations of a self-storage property while balancing customer service, sales, and facility management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily operations of the self-storage property
- Convert inquiries into rentals (phone, internet, walk-in)
- Sell boxes, locks, and packing materials
- Manage accounts receivable including collections and deposits
- Ensure property cleanliness and appearance standards
- Market to local businesses and apartment managers
- Maintain accurate customer records
- Perform light maintenance and cleaning duties
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks
- Monitor property condition and report issues
- Oversee contractors and vendors
- Manage foreclosure documentation and assist auctions
- Manage truck rentals and vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years in sales, customer service, leasing, or rentals
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills
- Availability for weekends and some holidays
- Eligible to work in the United States
