A top national law firm is looking for a Trademark Docketing Paralegal! Strong compensation and hybrid options!
Review and process a large volume of e-mail, mailings, correspondence and pleadings related to trademark matters from the United States Patent and Trademark Office, clients, foreign counsel and other foreign trademark/patent offices.
Maintain trademark attorney case dockets using web-based system. Keep detailed records of all entries to address questions about deadlines and procedures.
Serve as the primary contact for escalated docketing issue resolution and inquiries.
Thoroughly reviews correspondence, documents, and written docketing requests to ensure all deadlines are identified and docketed. This includes quality review of other team member's assigned work and providing feedback to ensure accuracy. Guides team members to learn and apply changing information.
Train and coach team members, to ensure accuracy in docketing entries and compliance with team standards.
Develop training materials and standard operating procedures
Provide expertise and guidance on complex trademark docketing issues. Research applicable country laws
Partner with trademark team regarding law changes and local rules specific to governing calculation of docketing deadlines to ensure that all dates docketed are accurate.
From a technical strategic perspective, work to improve the quality and efficiency of the docketing process, ensuring that firm standards and controls are robust and lead to an increase in the speed and accuracy of services delivered by the department.
Partner with the trademark team to conduct regular audits of trademark databases and docketing systems
Develops, maintains and helps enforce Docketing Team protocols.

Salary : $75,000 - $125,000
