Paralegal (Junior & Senior) - Litigation & Trusts/EstatesLocation: Downtown San DiegoSchedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PMCompensation:Junior Paralegal: Up to $75,000Senior Paralegal: Up to $95,000Direct Hire or Temp-to-HireAbout the RoleA boutique litigation law firm in downtown San Diego is seeking two paralegals-one junior (approx. 3 years' experience) and one senior (approx. 7 years' experience)-to join a highly collaborative, fast-paced practice. This is a litigation-heavy role supporting complex matters, with a preference for candidates who have experience in Trust & Estate litigation (not estate planning).The team prides itself on a flexible, comfortable, and welcoming environment (yes, there is a dog in the office), but they also set a high bar for consistency, professionalism, and delivering excellent work.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, prepare, and manage litigation documents, including strong legal writing and research.Handle e-filing in state and federal courts.Prepare, track, and manage subpoenas and discovery.Support attorneys in Trust & Estate litigation matters.Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines.Provide reliable, consistent support to the litigation team.Demonstrate strong professionalism and client-facing presence.QualificationsRequired for Both RolesStrong litigation background, including writing, research, and e-filing.Professional, presentable appearance (minimal visible tattoos/piercings).Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong work ethic and consistent attendance-especially during the first 90 days (in-office).Junior Paralegal (Approx. 3 Years' Experience)Solid litigation foundation; Trust & Estate litigation experience highly preferred.Ability to take direction and learn quickly.Senior Paralegal (Approx. 7 Years' Experience)Extensive litigation experience with minimal training required.Ability to work independently and "hit the ground running."Strong Trust & Estate litigation background is a major plus.Work EnvironmentFirst 90 days fully in-office; hybrid schedule may be available after, depending on performance.Firm culture values flexibility, transparency, professionalism, and dedication to helping the practice grow.Interview ProcessTwo-round interview process, likely both in-person.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
