About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Legal Litigation Secretary to join our Labor & Employment practice. This role is critical to supporting attorneys in managing complex litigation matters, ensuring deadlines are met, and delivering exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, edit, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence for state and federal courts.Perform accurate e-filing in multiple jurisdictions and manage service of process.Maintain litigation calendars: track court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial dates.Organize case files (electronic and physical), ensuring accuracy and version control.Coordinate attorney schedules, client meetings, and travel arrangements.Assist with trial preparation: assemble exhibit binders, witness lists, and trial notebooks.Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.Process billing: review time entries, prepare prebills, and handle expense reports.Maintain confidentiality and adhere to firm policies and ethical standards.Qualifications3-5 years of experience as a litigation secretary in a law firm (Labor & Employment experience preferred).Strong knowledge of California and federal court rules and e-filing systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PDF editing tools, and document management systems.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong written and verbal communication skills.PreferredExperience with trial logistics and supporting attorneys during hearings.Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms and calendaring software.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
